Pork And Bacon

Daniel is in charge of the pig breeding, he uses traditional rare breeds.
For the pork Dan keeps Berkshire pigs, a quiet, easy to handle black pig that produces the best tasting moist pork possible with crackling to die for.

The bacon and ham needs a bigger pig and so Dan uses the rarest British pig, The British Lop, another excellent tasting pig that has good length and not so much fat.
It is dry cured by our own butcher to produce mouth watering bacon that tastes like what your grandparents remember.
We make all our own quality sausages with flavours such as ork, Leekand Stilton, Pork and Wild Mushroom, Pork, Sundried Tomato and Basil .

The clay soils of the farm made it too difficult keeping the pigs outdoors, but we have made it so that the pigs have access to the outdoors but are kept in pig arcs on concrete and have hay and straw for bedding and in their diet.
